Innovative in-house production depth

To be able to call oneself justifiably a manufactory is today a rare privilege and a particular responsibility. DAMASKO takes this responsibility even more seriously than is actually necessary. In-house manufacturing of up to 90 per cent – due above all to the two manufactory calibres A 35 and H 35 – already gives the DAMASKO watches a special position among the connoisseur watches. However, the fact that they contain not only genuine handcraft of German production but completely new material and functional developments is innovative vertical integration.

What does this deep production depth of 90% really mean? We manufacture our cases, crowns, pushers and rotating bezel and all movement components such as gears, blued screws, pins and much more in-house.

Here are a few examples from the DAMASKO patent portfolio:

  • The first martensitic, hardenable stainless steels for watch cases heralded the development of material specialist DAMASKO into a watch manufactory.
  • With its multi-layer structure, the DAMEST® coating protects the DAMASKO watches permanently from traces of wear.
  • The EPS® spiral enables hitherto unachieved accuracy and physical non-sensitivity of the entire mechanical movement.
